Match report Takeley won the toss on a very hot day & batted. Despite the bowlers efforts takeley made 206-2.

LHCC made a solid start with Rowley & Thorn putting on 34 for the first wicket.
Wickets fell & on 62 -3 Chambers joint Phipps which saw an explosive partnership of 66 with Chambers (steve) making 43 including 9 boundaries!

wickets continued to fall but Phipps played an excellent innings of 77 not out & at the ned LHCC fell short by just 9 runs, making a draw.

An excellant game of cricket played in the right spirit
