New Season - Player Availability

19 Apr 2019

What a time to be alive. Its only 10am and the sun is beating down. Forecast temperatures are 23 degrees today and 24 tomorrow. It can only mean one thing: the start of the cricket season is just around the corner.

Our first game is 28th April away at Eastons, our first league match is 4th May at home against Stansted. While I will be organising Saturdays and Nick the Sundays, in this instance I will start collating names for both games.

A few people have filled in their availability on the club website.

Could you let me know if you can play either or both fixtures. A lot of Saturday players use the Eastons game as a warm up for the league season - it is a pretty competitive fixture. For the Sunday boys it is a chance to see if those winter nets and the gym regime have paid off.

Equally important, if you know of any new players or if you are a lapsed player who would like to get involved again, please let me know.

Looking forward to annoying you all summer. Hope to see you at the quiz on the 26th April when I will be even more annoying.

Cricket First,

S
