Three games to go in the HECL 2015 competition, here is what could be decided this weekend
Division 1
Despite losing to Ilford Catholic Is, Matching Green Is (353) still lead the field by 41 points from Nazeing Common Is (312). The title is unlikely to be decided this weekend, with Matching away to relegation threatened Molehill Green (166) and Nazeing at home to bottom side, Theydon Bois Is (144). Defeat for Nazeing and Ilford (away to Stansted) would give the title to Matching. The other two sides in threat of relegation are South Loughton Is (167) and Hockerill Is (156) who meet at Loughton.
Division 2
Nothing can be decided in this division where only 4 points separate Three Caps Is and Asps. Farnham who are 20 points further behind will be hoping they can gain ground with an away with an away win at Asps this weekend. Cloghams (128 pts) will look for back to back wins at home to Bengeo (167 pts). The other relegation threatened sides, Willingale (143) and Roding Valley Is (140) are at home to Takeley Is and Stortford IIIs respectively.
Division 3
Ilford Catholic IIs (354) could be champions is they beat Essendon away and Stansted Hall and Elsenham Is (311) lose to Abridge. Braughing (307) will look to keep up their push for promotion by when they take on Thorley Is. Potter Street (106) will be relegated if they fail to beat Woodford Wells IVs, Dunmow IIs (135) need to win at home to North Weald to gain ground on Abridge (180)
Division 4
Roding Valley Is (317), Thaxted (310) and Nazeing Common IIs (301) are all vying for the title and promotion. Roding face a trick trip to Stansted IIs, Thaxted and Nazeing take on relegation threatened Ardeley Walkern and High Beach. Ardeley are 70 points from safety and it is unlikely that High Roding IIs will fail to pick up 9 more points, so are all but down. Free falling High Beach are 14 points from safety. High Roding take on Little Munden, who are currently 5th.
Division 5
The top two face off at Beldams Lane, where Little Hallingbury (373) know a win will give them the title. Hockerill IIs (309) need another 43 points to be certain of promotion. However inflicting a first defeat on the Berries and Matching Green IIs (273) failing to pick up 10 points will guarantee Hockerill an immediate return to Division 4 next season. Matching are at home to fifth placed Wethersfield. At the bottom, Thorley IIs (121) will join Albury in Division 6 next season if they lose to Ilford Catholic IIIs (186) who are just above them.
Division 6
Three Caps IIs (334) and Woodford Wells (329) are both promoted. Hockerill IIIs (134) have a 25 point cushion over bottom side Stansted Hall and Elsenham IIs, but are away to title chasing Woodford this weekend.
