Little Hallingbury Cricket Club

On Monday evening, 3 of our junior members attended the Jack Petchey awards ceremony in Dunmow. The awards celebrate the contribution made by individuals to their school, sports club or youth club.

Dylan, Sam and Will all received awards to mark their contribution to LHCC. This is not just about their improvement as players, but also their wider contribution and commitment to the Club. Whether it is travelling long distances, scoring matches, groundwork, fielding in unusual places or simply making themselves available at short notice, all three have played an important part in Hallingbury's successful season.

While we were all hoping for Kelly Brook, the awards were presented by the Chair of Uttlesford District Council, Councillor Stephanie Harris who did a superb job, congratulating all the lads personally on their achievement.
