A youthful hallingbury side put up a spirted performance against a strong Matching side, who posted 172-8 after 44 overs.The bowlers all put in good spells especially Jon Cummings but young Anthony Somerville showed great promise by taking his first ever wicket for the club.

In reply LHCC struggled against a good spell of leg spin bowling which resulted in several batsman holeing out in the field, howver Martin Stedman & Anothony Somerville held out for a draw in a game conducted in an excellant manner by both sides
