Match report A mainly youthful with the odd very experienced member Hallingbury team achieved a draw in a enjoyable match
Harlequins claimed to 84 for 2 before a well earned drinks break saw a wicket fall to a vicious turning delivery form Sunny clipped the bail of the opener; 4 wickets fell for no further runs. Their star batsmen complete with a test match display of shots was then superbly bowled by a well flighted delivery from Will Goold. The number 0 and 10 then added 40 runs before being bowled out for 151 with Sunnys 5th wicket avoiding him partly due to a very very very strong lbw decision that was turned down and the fielders assistant in helping him avoid a jug
Hallingbury set off in pursuit losing White in the 2nd over, Jake Chapman played well for 28 but then a combination of poor slot selection giving the fielders catching practice saw Hallingbury slump to 69 for 7
However a very young Dillon Candy batting with fielders all round him for nearly 16 overs and Sunny nearly won the match with a amazing 71 until well caught in the deep. It was left to a very young Dillon and not so young Keith BEHAGG to see out the last 6 overs for a well deserved draw
