Match report On another tropical day LHCC loss the toss and were invited to bat
A solid opening partnership between a sensible Alex Turner (must be the sun) and Goold saw the arrival of Sunni whom proceeded to smash the ball to all parts and it was a surprise when he was out for 73. Good contributions from Chapman and Flitchett set up Raj and Rumble for a final onslaught with the highlight being a hugh straight six from Raj
After a superb tea by Mrs Flitchett LHCC set about their task on a very flat batting wicket; hopes were raised when their opener was out first bowl but the other opener batted for a well made 96. The spinners gained some late wickets during some lusty hitting late on especially against young Wil Goold who tried a leg stump line. The skipper came on and picked up 3 late wickets but a draw seemed on the cards as the visitors ended up on 205 for 6
