Match report On a cloudy and wet afternoon LHCC invited Matching Green to bat first. LHCC opened the bowling with Turner (1-46) and Featherstone (1-72) but both couldn’t break the opening partnership. As the rain fell LHCC got frustrated with Maylon (86) and Lees (57) who smashing the LHCC bowling attack to all parts of the ground. When LHCC went out to bat they lost Rowley (0) in the second over but Turner (68) went into T20 mode middling everything. But when Turner got out we had yet another “Hallingbury” collapse”. There was some little support from Goold (12). But Hartulls.S (5-2) tore through the batting order to send this side to victory.
