Match report On a warm and hot day LHCC lost the toss and were asked to bat first. Goold S(69)and Turner(24) put on 56 for the first wicket. Turner, desperate to get runs after a failure with the bat the previous day, was out bowled by Ives(1-34). But Goold S stayed at the wicket and recorded his second 50 of the weekend. With support from Thorne(30*)and Rea-Long(24) we got to a gettable target of 192. With the help of a slow outfield Stocking Pelham had to work hard for their runs. They lost an early wicket thanks to Rea-Long(3-31) who also had support from Goold W(1-34), Turner(1-11) and Watt(1-17). But a 61* not out from Sharman meant the game ended in a draw. Hallingbury continue to search for that elusive win on Sunday.
