Match report On a cloudy afternoon with LHCC desperate for a win, we played a 40 over match. LHCC lost the toss and bowled first. The opening bowlers of Turner and Bharambe started badly with both unable to find the right length to bowl at the opening batsmen. Some tight bowling through the middle overs from Bharambe.S lifted LHCC spirits up.Sampfords where eventually bowled out for a respectable total of 156.The LHCC reply started badly, losing both Turner and Bharambe.S cheaply. But a big partnership of 102 between Thorne and Phipps help us get the job half done. It was then left to Allen and Renals to see us home with plenty of time to spare and to finally get our first Sunday victory of the season.
