Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won 34 runs

Match report On a hot and warm day, the start of the match was delayed because of an accident on the M11 resulting in half of the opposition arriving late. LHCC lost the toss and were asked to bat first. The new opening pairing of Turner and Phipps batted with great fluency until Phipps(19) played through a shot too quickly on the slow and was caught by Hill(3-66) But a quick-fire fifty from Rumble (52*)got us to a competitive total. He has now scored over 100 runs without getting out. Must be the new bat!. Opening bowlers Fensom and Astwood bowled very tightly. Thanks to two caught and bowled wickets by Malik (3-45) the middle order was exposed, but standing in our way was R.Dash who hit an unbeaten 64 but LHCC hung on to keep their winning run intact with Fensom cleaning up the tail in a highly efficient manner.
