Match report On a hot day LHCC won the toss and batted first. S. Goold and Turner put on 54 for the first wicket until Goold (33) was unluckily caught behind off the bowling of N.Williams (3-51). Turner batted through the whole innings for hs 97 not out and delivered a big partnership of 94 with Malik (54) helping us to a challenging total of 258 from our 45 overs. With only needing to take 4 opposition wickets to be promoted Fensom and Astwood started nervously. At the halfway mark Bishop Stortford where up with the rate and it looked like we where going to lose our unbeaten run this season, wih Hussain and Growe-Smith both making half-centuries. However we created scoreboard pressure with the help of tight bowling from Fensom 3-30, Kalyankar 3-54 and Malik 2-35 we wrapped up the innings with a Goold catch and secured promotion back to Division 4.
