Match report On a bright and sunny day with the pitch very green LHCC won the toss and asked Sampfords to bat first, They started well with the opening pair putting on 32 for the first wicket. until Turner(1-42)bowled Webster for 22. But Banks went on to make 66. But some tight bowling from Watt(3-37) and some all round good fielding from the youngsters kept Sampfords to a respectable total of 222 from their allotted overs. The LHCC replay got of to a flying start with Rumble(80)and Turner(77) both recording fifty's. Sampfords respond with little threat and Bylth(1-9) picked up the only wicket of the innings. It was then left to Allen(21*) and Bharambe(23*) to steer LHCC home with plenty of time to spare and get LHCC their first Sunday victory of the season.
