Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 207 Runs

Match report On a freezing cold afternoon, LHCC Lost the toss and were asked to bat first. S.Goold(82)and A.Turner(61) laid the foundation for our innings, this time putting on 80 for the first wicket. However, Turner went for one big shot too many and was bowled by Sehgar(2-31). With all the top order in form, Hallingbury batting went through the gears. When Fensom(98*)and S.Goold got together there was no stopping them.They both batted well especially Fensom who was hitting the ball to all parts of the ground and as well as doing this going into t20 mode at the same time. They both pushed the accelerator pedal and put on a partnership of 97 to get LHCC to a challenging total of 295 from their allotted overs.

As the rain started to fall, High Beach knew that if they were to get anywhere near our total they would have to get off to a good start and unfortunately they didn't, losing B.Summer in the opening overs. High Beach tried their absolute best to push the total up but it didn't come in the end as some late bowling from Rumble(5-15), Astwood(1-38) and Fensom(4-31) together with some good all round fielding kept LHCC's unbeaten run going.

Man of the match Jay Fensom who took us to a match winning score then ripped the heart out of the High Beach batting line up.
