Match report With just two games left of the season. We knew that a win at home against Stansted and a Hockrill defeat would clinch back to back titles. On a blustery and windy day we lost the toss and were asked to bat first. Turner got off to a bad start being caught in Porter (2-45) 3rd over. With the top four failing we knew that if we were going to set a big total somebody was going to have to make a big score. Fensom (76) took the attack to the bowlers lashing on to anything short and wide. Also a crucial 23 run partnership between Dobson (22*) and Goold (4) helped us get to 176 all out.

Stansted got off to a good start with M.Jonson(39) and M.Allen(8). We continued to take wickets at regular intervals. But some big hitting from the middle order and some short pitched bowling resulted in Stansted winning by 4 wickets.
