Match report On a warm and sunny afternoon, LHCC lost the toss and asked HBO to bat first. HBO got off to a flying start with both opening bowlers Goold(0-30)and Watt(0-27) getting smashed all over the ground. But some nice tight bowling through the middle overs from Thorne(1-35) and Rumble(1-56)kept the score down. especially Rumble who was generating some swing and movement off the pitch. Some late hitting from HBO got them to a challenging total of 257. The LHCC reply got off to a good start with Rumble(37)and Turner(78)smashing the ball to all parts of the ground, putting on a partnership of 70 for the first wicket. But when Turner got out the game fell away and it looked like LHCC were going to lose again. Even some resistance from Canty(9)wasn't enough.But thanks to Goold(0*) and Renals(20*) they stayed together to bat out for the draw.
