Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Sunday Team v Hallingbury Place XI on Sun 03 Jul 2016 at 2.00pm
Match was Drawn

Match report Hallingbury place won the toss and decided to bat on a sunny day. They soon lost their 1st wicket only for the next 2 batsmen to put on 150 runs. However once Raj threw down the stumps to run out the number 3 bat(despite being told by the wicketkeeper to hold onto the ball, which he fortunately ignored)this together with the introduction of Featherstone saw them bowled out for 193. This was a good comeback after a variety of dropped catches we even had the added bonus of Alex Turner bowling straight!
Our reply saw Rumble out cheaply missing a straight one and he was followed by Turner who in scoring 17 passed the 1000 run mark for the season!
Thorn helped steady the ship and Tom Allen proceeded to score a well stuck 50, once these two fell Raj and Sam Watt seemed to be taking us to the verge of victory.
Unfortunately both were out in quick succession and a quick furry of wickets saw Malcomn seeing out the last 3 balls for a draw.
