Match report Little Hadham & Ilford (that's where half their team came from !) won the toss and stuck Berries into bat and were made to regret it as the opening pairing of Turner and Rumble put on 160 for the first wicket after negotiating some tidy early bowling from Hadham. Turner eventually plundered 147 not out with some ferocious hitting late in the piece, which included a healthy dent in one of the oppos car roof - aptly off his own bowling ! Hallingbury ended on a healthy 248-1 and Hadham were never really in the hunt after losing early wickets. They managed to shore things up however at 7 down and the home team could only manage one more wicket in their frustrating search for another elusive win.
