Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 20 Runs

Match report With North Weald cancelling on Friday afternoon, we organised an inter house 30 over game captained by Nick and Stewart. Stewart side batted first, Behagg and Stedman started well nudging the ball around the field. With most of the colts on Nick’s side, young Alex-Dixton-Smith and Will Renals bowled tightly .But Will Goold stepped up to the plate and paced his innings nicely including a top edged 6 into the bush! He had good support from Nick Budd(30*) and Amit Kalyanker(30*) Stewart’s side got a good challenging of 178 from their 30 overs.

Nick’s side started badly losing Sam Watt early on. But Jack Culpin batted well and had support from Will and Andy Renals. But they losed wickets at the wrong time. As the rain started to fall heavenly the ball started to spin as Karim Somani bowled nice and tightly and took wickets just when we needed it. Nick team evently got bowled out for 158. A great game played in the right spirit.
