Harlequins v Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Sunday Team on Sun 11 Jun 2017 at 2.30pm
Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 4 Wickets

Match report Harlequins won the toss and elected to field on a worn but still slightly green pitch at their adopted home ground at Farnham on a blustery, sunny afternoon. Tom Culpin and Sam Watt bowled good opening spells, Tom with excellent figures of 19 for 1 off 9. Dave (3 wickets), Luke (2), Jack (2) and Malc (1) kept chipping away at their batting line-up which gave Berries good control over the scoring rate enabling us to limit them to 178. Tom (55) set off in typical maverick style with solid support from Jack to give us a solid start of 63 before Jack was trapped in front by a scudder. Several wickets then fell to keep Harlequins in the game but a good stand between Graham Hibberd (34 on debut and his first game for 23 years - superb performance !)and Nick saw Hallingbury home with a ball to spare in a nail-biting finale. Great game, good hosts, nice win. Bloody Brilliant !
