Match report On a sunny day Hallingbury won the toss and fielded. A good opening spell by Tom Wharton & Luke Stedman saw Tom pick up 2 early wickets beating the batsman for pace
There followed two good partnerships with batsmen taking advantage of the very short boundary on the leg side where top edges went for 6 along with some dropped catches
Hallingbury plugged away taking late wickets with Hadham finishing on 219, a very good total

Hallingbury started in a positive manner but suffered an early collapse ending up on 17 for 4. Williams and Tom Wharton took the score to 73 batting in a positive manner before both fell just before the start of 20 overs leaving us on 82 for 6
An excellent rear guard action lasting 11 overs by Peter Watt and Luke Wharton saw us to within 8 overs of safety until both batsman fell, however Luke Stedman batted in the rain for 8 overs joined by Malcolm for the last 5 overs, both earning the side a hard fought draw
