Match report On another cold damp September day LHCC were asked to field first by a very strong North Weald XI.
Eight bowlers were used and plugged away without much luck throughout the NW innings who declared 10 minutes before tea on 214 for 3.

Hallingbury started off in 20/20 mode with Rumble smashing 4 fours before hitting a ball straight to the only fielder in the deep, Jay followed soon after, another wicket fell leaving us on 50-3 but Raj together with Nick adding 53 runs before Raj fell for a well stuck 45. Wickets then quickly fell to the dual spin attack of the home side with the skipper going for 36.

With 11 overs left Hallingbury were 9 wickets down but despite being surrounded by fielders Sam Watt and Stedman senior held on for a draw until the heavens opened at the end
