Match report On a warm sunny day HBO batted first and made use of a batting surface and a depleted Hallingbury bowling attack
After a rapid spell by Tom Wharton that made the wicketkeeper remember how old he is the batsmen scored quickly with the number 3 (Hyde Hall skipper) scoring a rapid, entertaining 101 on a fast outfield, fortunately in the process lost balls took up some valuable fielding time
The bowlers and fielders plugged away and the wicketkeeper managed to persuade the captain to give him a bowl, taking two wickets in the process. HBO finished on 240 - 4, a total a tad on the high side

Hallingbury strode to the wicket after a good tea and the openers accumulated runs, LHCC only lost 2 wickets in the first hour with Raj very unlucky to be out to a one handed catch by a eight foot tall fielder
Dylan then made a rapid 27 before going for 1 attacking shot to many

Phil carried his bat scoring a well made 61 not out, with a excellent effort also by young Sam Robinson who was not out at the end taking up valuable batting time

Despite a mini collapse LHCC held on for a well deserved draw in a very entertaining and enjoyable match
