Match report Yet another hot day and opposition calls the correct side of the coin and no hesitation to bat first. Jay and Richard started off well but fast outfield and some attacking shots accelerate the run rate to 8 RPO . Patience paid off and Sudip breaks the partnership of 143 for first wicket when Gareth took brilliant catch behind the stump. Fensom's return spell was exceptional from the Far end and he makes the ball talk both ways which batmen couldn't read his speed and deadly in swingers which made a sweet sound of the timber 2 times. Jay picked up 3 quick wickets in span of 15 balls restricted the oppositions to 262.
LHCC didn't manage to replicate the opening stand performance from last game and Amit Singh cleared his timber in the third over. George, the opening bowler did produce some beautiful bowling to restrict us. Amit Kalyankar produces yet another 50 with some beautiful shots all over. Top middle order failed to perform with some resistance from Wainy and Jay with partnership of 58. Luke produces some hopes with some clean hitting and good running between the wickets this time with 31 but didn't get enough support from lower order finishes LHCC on 235.
