Match report With only three weeks left of the season we traveled to Stansted. We won the toss and batted first on a overcast day. We had a bit of a shakey start losing Amit(6) who was bowled round his legs. Baker (2-34) and M.Abbertoon (0-28) bowled beautifully swinging the ball round corners and in doing so got rid of S.Kayanker (21). But with Stewart (41) at the crease there was hope and he along with Sunny (50) put on a partnership of 64. However scoring was slow and it was only when Malik, Dobson and Fensom came to the crease that the innings gained real momentum. We got a good score of 233 from our 45 overs, but weren't sure that it was enough.

Stansted didn't get off the best of starts in there reply with Fensom picking off the opening wicket. We kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals through Kalyankar (3-51), Malik(3-51) and Bharambe(1-35). But then a 5th wicket partnership of 72 took it down to the last over. with 9 required and one wicket left it was left to Sudip to bowl the last over and he held his nerve.
