Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 256 Runs

Match report With only two games of the league season left we welcomed Theydon Bois to Gaston Green. We won the toss and batted first. With Theydon only having 9 players on the field, there where plenty of gaps for Amit and Phil to score through. Phill was given out LBW to a ball that didn't swing as much as he had hoped. Wain (18) and Malik( 50) helped push the run rate up but it was a massive onslaught towards the back end of the innings from Phipps (78*) and Fensom (90*) who put on a massive partnership to help us get us to our highest league total of the season 378- 5 from our 45 overs.

We knew that we had a simple equation as we game out to field and Fensom (2-20) and Dobson (3-18) got the ball rolling by taking quick wickets including a spectacular 2nd slip catch by Dave Wain. Malik (0-28) and Kalyankar(1-31) chipped in with wickets as we bowled Theydon Bois out in plenty of time to win by 256 Runs.
