Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Sunday Team v Little Hadham on Sun 18 Aug 2019 at 14.00
Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 2 Wickets

Match report Little Hadham batted first and got off to a fast start with both openers hitting boundaries right from the off. Luke Wharton took the first wicket of the afternoon, which would prove to be the only wicket to fall for quite some time. Towards the end of the Hadham innings there were wickets for Jo Applely, Matt Shepherd and Alex White. We used 9 bowlers as Hadham posted 191-5, leaving us with a challenging total to chase.

In response Thorne and White gave us a solid start as they put on 63 for the first wicket. When Alex departed for 39 wickets would continue to fall until a good partnership between Thorne and Matt Shepherd. Nick would bring up a well-made 50 in his final match as the captain of the Sunday team, but was out soon after for 56. However, at the other end Matt was playing a gem of an innings, finishing unbeaten on 43 to help seal a nail-biting victory for Hallingbury.
