Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 14 Runs

Match report Cricket returned to Gaston Green all be it 4 months late. With guidelines to follow an inter club game was arranged and was led by the two captains of this reduced season Sudip and Raj. Sudip side won the toss and batted first. There was a good contest early on between Nick and Amit S who was very unfornute to be given out hit wicket. Mithan playing his first game for the club got to 50 and then retired. A good partnership between Sudip and Stuart Dobson was then formed as the side tried to get towards 200. However, they were out in consecutive overs to leave the tail to limp to a score of 183 from their 28 overs.

With no tea it was a quick turnaround and Hyde Hall skipper Ollie Lathem and Karim set to work chasing down the target with Ollie reaching 50 and then retiring. However, some good bowling from Ishfaq(1-14) and Sudip(0-11) and some running pressure was too much for the Raj Xl as they ended on 169. Special mention to Hugo and James S who both bowled very well under pressure during the game.
