Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Lost By 225 Runs

Match report Not a great day at Gaston Green for our final league game of this reduce season against Matching Green. We lost the toss and fielded first and from the very first ball of the innings it all went downhill as we conceded our highest ever total at our ground with a very young bowling attack getting hit to all parts. Full credit must go to Riz who batted superbly to score 178 and with support from Sibley (71), and S.Wardy (124) put on a massive 434 from 40 overs yes you heard me 40 overs!!

We put up a good fight with the bat and Mithun (48) lead the way and he also had support from Sudip (37), Joe Ash (24) and Nabeel (18) but in the end it was too big a task as we ended on 209 all out. Not a good way for our Saturday season to end. We go again next season.
