Match report A freezing cold Saturday afternoon greeted both LHCC and Thorley at Gaston Green. We batted first, hoping to make use of what looked a lovely wicket to bat on. Unfortunately, some good bowling from Thorley put paid to that quite quickly. Amit K hit his first 3 balls for 4 and held the innings together with 37 but nobody could stick with him. Credit must go to Nabeel who hung around for some time, but we got bowled out for 91 in the 24th over.

We started well with some good tight bowling from Ish and Stu Dobson and we looked sharp in the field. However, we were unable to create any real pressure as Thorley had such a low total to chase. In the end, Thorley knocked the runs off with little fuss. We go again next weekend away at Farnham.
