Match report A warm and sunny day greeted both teams as we played a local fixture against Hatfield Heath. We won the toss and batted first. When Goold hit the first 3 balls for 4 we looked like we could be on for a good score. Amit Kalyankar kept the momentum up and helped us past the 100 mark with only 1 wicket down. Unfortunately some good bowling in the middle overs from the Hatfield Heath attack put us under pressure and a good contributions from Mat Sheppard and Mithun helped us get to a good score of 201 from our 40 overs.

We went out into the field looking to squeeze right from the first over and we did that through Samson who was making his league debut and was very unlucky not to pick up a wicket in a fine opening spell. Had we held our catches, it might have been a different story, however, a good knock from C. Wemdon (105) with further contributions from M.Graves and S.George got Hatfield to a good victory as we once again struggled in the bowling department.
