Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Lost By 100 Runs

Match report Heavy overnight rain lead to a delayed start as we travelled to title chasing Nazeing. With a leaf blower and towels, Nazeing somehow manged to get the pitch match fit to play a t20. We won the toss and fielded first. Some good running from the Nazeing opening batsman early on put us under pressure. Joe Ash came back and bowled a good comeback spell and we stuck at it and fielded well towards the back end of the innings.
We came out and didn’t get off to the best of starts losing both Tom and Amit inside the opening 2 overs. Some good resistance from Joe Ash and good contributions at the end of the innings from Stu Dobson and Stewart Goold meant that we batted our full 20 overs. Next weekend we go again against Bishop Stortford.
