Match report A new season for the Sunday side dawned under the new leadership of Luke Wharton. After last weekends abandoned game aganst Eastons we played hosts to the Sam Watt Xl. We batted first and got off to a good start with the skipper and Phill putting on 58 for the first wicket. We had a bit of a wobble at about the halfway point of the innings with Branning picking up 5 wickets. Amit passed 50 as well in the process to get us to a score of 179.

With a good score on the board we had to try and take early wickets to stop the flow of runs and we did that through two young colt Charlie Mugele and Veer who were both making there debuts for the Sunday side. Unfortunately Tom Wharton and Hutchinson got to 50 before retiring and that left us with too much to do as they chased down the score with 4 overs to go. We go again next week.
