Match report On a bright but cloudy day at Gaston Green we played a new fixture against Chrishall. We batted first and got off a good start with Luke and Karim putting on a partnership of 33 for the first wicket. Until Luke was caught for 18. That bought Joe Ash to the crease and he started hitting the ball to all parts of the ground and reached a well deserved 100 in the process before retiring. Matt(26*)and Nabeel (17) helped support the team to a score of 245.
We went out to start our reply and Beau bowled well at the start of our innings and picked up a wicket in the process. He had support in the wickets column from Malcom(3-71) and the returning Sam Watt(2-25). It looked like at one stage it would be an easy victory for the home side but Emron hit a 100 to frustrate the Hallingbury bowling attack and got the oppostion close to the target. In the end we were unable to take the final 3 wickets to win the game and it ended in a draw.
