Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 35 Runs

Match report As we entered the final league game of the season aganst Potter Street the equation was simple win and we would be promoted to the premier league. We won the toss and batted first. Luke and Amit opened up for us and started positively with the bat. However, towards the middle of the innings we had a bit of a wobble. It looked like we would struggle to make to a total over 200 to get us in the game.However, Rishabh and Stuart came together to put on a vital partnership of 48 to get us to a score of 201 from out 40 overs.
It looked like it could be anyone’s game as we headed out to bowl. Joe picked up a wicket in the 4th over while in the next over Samson pined Mashood LBW. Some good fielding overall from us kept the runs down. Matt taking a great catch on the boundary. And Rishabh finished his season with 3 wickets. In the end it was too much for Potter Street as we bowled them out for 166 to give us promotion to the premier league!
