Match report Looking to get a victory on the board after last weekends defeat to the Sam Watt Xl we were hopeful of getting a victory against Great Canfield. We won the toss and batted first and played a 30 over game. Karim and Phill started well with Karim getting to 40 in the process. We had had a mini collapse in the middle overs but Beau held it together and go to 50 and had support from Nabeel(15) We got to a score of 129 from our 30 overs.
After a good tea we went out looking for early wickets and got that through young Charlie who bowled a brilliant delivery to get rid of Warnes. At the hallway stage it looked like it could be anybody's game but Mukel and Wright came together for the opposition to help them edge them to there victory target. Phill did pick up a wicket towards the end of the innings dismissing Mukel but it was too late as we lost by 8 wickets. Not a good day in the heat!
