Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Lost By 8 Wickets

Match report With last weekend’s success of the inter club game under our belt we played our first league friendly at the picturesque ground of Stansted Hall and Elseham. We won the toss and batted first. We didn’t get off to the best of starts losing Mark Mcrath in the 4th over. And from then wickets fell at regular intervals. Only Ishfaq(22) was able to provide some resistance as we got bowled out for 101 within our 35 overs.

With only a small total to defend we knew that we had to take early wickets. Ishfaq started well to hold up an end but a quick fire 64 from R.Muclurk(64) did for us in the heat as we lost by 8 wickets. Next weekend we are at home to North Weald.
