Match report Hoping to put last weekend's defeat behind us we entertained North Weald at Gaston Green. We won the toss and batted first. Both Amits opened up and set off like an express train as we raced to 50-0 in the 5th over. Amit S continued on well and got to a deserved half century. But when he fell the middle order had a little collapse mainly thanks to Ross(3-37). However, Joe Ash(48) and Nabeel Somani(12) put on a sold partnership to dig us out of a hole. Joe was set to reach a well deserved 50 when the rain set in and the game was abandoned. There was still time however for Ishfaq to be presented with a trophy by Phil Rowley.
