Match report The last game of the season saw us play Hyde Hall in a 30 over a side match. Batsmen had a first ball free hit and were to retire out at 25, with everyone having to bowl 2 overs each. Hallingbury batted first, losing wickets at regular intervals (including 3 run outs). There was a useful partnership between Maria and the Hallingbury Lara, who hit an exquisite drive for 4. Maria would go on to be joint top scorer with Raj, who came in and acquired some quick needed runs at the end, including a six. Hallingbury finished 97-8 at tea.

In response, the Hyde Hall openers looked steady until Maria bowled one of the two, with Joe Ash producing a superb run out (helped by Will Goold), who had a great stint as a keeper. Raj would then pick up two wickets, one of which seeing Nabeel take his first catch. Will Renals also took a wicket, who had a good spell (1-5). Latham (27*) saw his side home with time to spare.

A nice fixture to end the season.
