Match report Glorious sunshine greeted both teams at Gaston Green as we welcomed Potter Street for our latest League fixture. With quite a few players delayed from both sides, we delayed the start and played a 40 over game. For the first time this season we got off to a good start with both Amit’s timing the ball well. However, this week it was Amit Singh who went on to make a half century. A good contribution from Oli Latham who top scored helped get the score to 197.
A good start was needed and we got that through Keir who took a wicket in the opening over. However that turned out to be a high point as we once again struggled in the bowling department. When Will took a good catch running in from third man we though we might be in with a chance. But we were unable to capitalise and a winning partnership between Kasir(93*) and Zahid(39*) helped guide Potter Street to an easy victory.
