Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 18 Runs

Match report It was a cold day as LHCC played the traditional game against the Rachel Goold Xl. LHCC batted first and got off to a good start with both Shaun and Amit both getting to 30 before retiring. That laid the platform for others in the team to hit out. Freddie, Luke and Matt all went about hitting the ball to all parts of the ground. LHCC getting to a massive 245 from our 35 overs.
The Goold Xl went out to bat knowing that a few people had to retire if they were going to get anywhere near the total and they did that through L.Tipper(30). A good partnership between Sunny and Jay kept us in the game. Some good bowling from the Hallingbury attack in the middle overs made the game exciting. Some good batting from Dan Rans gave the Rachel Goold Xl hope but in the end it wasn't enough they fell short by 18 Runs. A good game played in a good spirit.
