Little Hallingbury Cricket Club Won By 6 Wickets

Match report Following two cancelled games we looked to win at home to Thaxted. We lost the toss and fielded first. We got off to a good start with the ball with both Goold and Le Grove bowling nice and tightly. Some hard hitting from Lard helped push the score along. Lard ending up retireing on 100. Some good bowling and sharp fielding towards the back end stopped the flow of runs but Thaxted still ended on a score of 210.
With a big total on the board we knew that we had to get off to a good start and we got that through Somani and Dutton. We lost Dutton with the score on 83 and that left Somani to keep going and he has support from Luke Wharton who struck an unbeaten 50 to get us over the line quite easily by 6 wickets.
