Match report With only two games left of the Saturday season we hosted North Weald at home. Stand in captan Stuart lost the toss and fielded first. Some very accurate bowling from Joe, Tom and Samson kept the scoring rate down and at one stage North Weald were 67-4. Some resistance from Ginn (42) helped the opposition to a respectable score, North Weald getting bowled out for 147.
With only a small total on the board we went out to chase the runs and Amit carried on his superb form with the bat and was assisted by Luke. They both batted sensibly and both reached 50 and knocked the runs off together with minimal fuss. A good victory which was celebrated with a beer afterwards.
