Match report Looking to get another victory on Sunday we faced Little Hadham at Gaston Green. For the second time this season stand in captain Will won the toss and fielded first. We got off to a good start with the ball with Charlie and Beau bowling well. Some good batting from Frazer and Wilkinson helped keep the scoreboard ticking along and looked to be setting the away side a big score for us to chase. But some good fielding from Hallingbury also helped restrict the flow of runs and in doing this we picked up regular wickets. Beau picked up 5 wickets and he had support from Malcom, Hugo and Raj in the bowling department. We ended up bowling Little Hadham out for 147.
We didn't get off to the best of starts with the bat as we lost our top 3 in quick succestion and we had a "Hallingbury collapse". However, some good batting from Samson kept us in the game and in doing this got his first 50 for the club. At drinks it looked like it could be anybody's game. But Samson along with Malcom both held there nerve to see us over the line by 7 wickets. A good game played in a good spirit.
