Match report Looking to get our second win on a Sunday we traveled to Thorley CC to play Little Hadham. We lost the toss and fielded first. With a short boundary and a slope to contend with, it made it hard for us to save boundaries. Syfal started hitting the ball to all parts of the ground and started to frustrate our bowling attack. But towards the back end of the innings, we managed to pick up wickets thanks to Will (2-70) young colt Ben (1-13) and Beth BC who picked up 2 wickets at the end of the innings. Little Hadham got to a score of 202.

With a big total to chase down we had to get off to a good start with the bat and we did that through Luke and Joe. Luke was out shortly after then Joe Ash went not so soon after to leave us in a bit of trouble. However, Stewart and Joe combined to put on a partnership of 111 to keep the score board moving along. They were then out to leave it anyones game at drinks. We had a bit of a collapse towards the end and it looked like the game would be slipping away from us. Step forward Phil Rowley who played a magnificent innings of 29 not out along with Malcolm to see us over the line. With 2 needed off the last ball of the game, Phil hit a mighty boundary. What a win!!
