Dear Member,
As Sudip had decided to stand down from captaining our Saturday XI after 5 years ,
the committee would like to receive nominations for new candidates for the role of Captain and
Vice Captain of the Saturday XI for 2021 season.
The nominees received for these posts shall be voted on at the upcoming AGM in 2021 , in line with the Club Rules.
The posts are open to all members . The 2021 season offers real challenges in the new HEBL for our club,
and focus on leadership and youth development in the side shall be important to consider.
If you are interested in applying for either of the roles please send your details with your Proposer and Seconder to any committee member by email by January 22, 2021.
The Captain will be responsible for the playing side on Saturdays, and represent the values of the Club.
The Captain and Vice Captain can benefit from the support of the committee, selection co-ordination from Stewart Goold , Raj Bharambe [Sundays] ,Nick Thorne for the Colts , and ground preparation from Gareth Williams.
