As there is the prospect of a vacancy for captaining and Vice Captain of our SUNDAY XI for the upcoming season ,the committee would like to receive nominations for new candidates for the roles of Captain and Vice Captain of the Sunday XI for 2021 season.
The nominees received for these posts shall be voted on at the upcoming AGM in 2021 , in line with the Club Rules. The AGM shall be scheduled for end of February or early March 2021.
The posts are open to all members . The 2021 season offers a great opportunity to lead a talented side where youth development as well as cricket and social enjoyment shall be important to consider.
If you are interested in applying for either of the roles please send your details with your Proposer and Seconder to any committee member by email by February 15 , 2021.
The Captain will be responsible for the playing side on Sundays , represent the values of the Club , and be invited to join the Committee of the Club..
The Captain and Vice Captain can benefit from the support of the committee, selection co-ordination from Stewart Goold , the Saturday Captain , and Nick Thorne for the Colts , and ground preparation from Gareth Williams for the season 2021.Thankyou, and wishing you Happy New Year in Tier 4 and beyond .
